Your Photo Guide

HI to all!

I am living and working in Norway since 6 years now, since the beginning I was exploring norwegian beautiful landscapes, improving my photographic skills, my gear and my knowledge about the photography itself as well as scandinavian nature, culture and different shooting conditions.

On my workshops I will lead You through the most scenic, beautiful and breathtaking locations across western parts of Lofoten Archipelago.

Each day I will share my knowledge about different shooting styles, the gear, building the composition and of course - how to catch Your very best Aurora Borealis photographs. Between the sessions we will discuss our shots and share some post-processing tricks.

I was visitng Lofoten multiple times already and You can be sure that I will take You to the best locations in the right time so You could experience The Best of this magical place!

Hope to see You soon!

Workshops Details:

Place: Norwegian Lofoten Islands

Date: 26.01-1 .02.2020

Group size: 3-5 persons - from my experience - small groups are much more 'effective'!

Our base: We will be staying in fully equipped house in Ramberg area or Leknes, more details after booking.

Price: 12 000 NOK (1248 €, 1424 $, 1080 £)

Price include:

  • Transfer from/to the airport. Place of meeting will be Evenes Narvik/Harstad Airport but it is possible to fly directly to Leknes and I will pick You up from there

  • 6 nights in fully equipped, beautiful house in the heart of Lofoten Islands

  • Every day transport to different locations, at least two photo sessions a day (sunrise/sunset and Aurora Hunting depending of weather conditions and Aurora forecasts)

  • Food on arrival - I will make a basic grocery shopping for everyone, so You will have basic food products for supper after arriving and breakfast next day.

  • My support during every session - gear, settings, compositions, finding the best spots

  • Photo editing tips and tricks on demand

Price does NOT include:

  • Tickets to Evenes or Leknes airport

  • Food and drinks during the stay (except 'Food on arrival') - it is a self catering accommodation but You can easily buy a lot of 'ready to eat' meals which can be prepared in our kitchen fast and easy

  • Extra gear if You forgot ot lost Yours

Difficulty level: Very easy to easy - most of the visited locations are situated on beaches and towns area - so only wet rocks and stones can be tricky here. We will walk away not further than 500 meters from parking area and car. For now I am not planning to reach the mountain tops, but it can be an extra option if desired.

Final word: We will be shooting outdoors for a long time sometimes and You have to remember that northern parts of Norway can be unpredictable if we talk about weather. This is the main subject to watch for every day - we will choose the locations and time of sessions each day. We will work around weather conditions to find the best solutions, but be prepared for few days of strong wind, rain showers or sudden temperature drops. However, Lofoten climate is much more mild than inland areas so no big worries -just take Your best outdoor clothing with You. It is not said that we cannot see the sunny weather for the whole stay ;).
